This page is just to let everyone know all about the dresses and the designs we've had and maybe having in future and it is also a way for all of our past present dancers to remember the dresses they danced in.Some girls have been able to dance in all of the dresses listed
This design is the first dress the Wythenshawe Starlettes ever wore for competition. The girls opinon on this dress design was and still is very mixed. Some girls loved it and found it 'unique' and others found the colour combination 'hideous'.These dresses do have a very unique design due to way the top half of the dress overlaps the bottom half and the colour combination of jade and cerise is a striking combintation. These dresses lived on for a while with Vale Jets
These were our next lot of dresses that we bought from Saint Lukes morris troupe when we decided it was time for a change. There are two differnt style in these colours, one design for tots, babies and dinkies and another for tinies, juniors and seniors. All girls seemed to like these dresses, well apart from the senior line who had to fit into dresses which were far too small for them. The colours were very bright and eye catching. These dresses are still in existance today, they were bought by Tameside Emmarettes.Below are some pics of the Tameside Emmarettes girls wearing the dresses.
These are the last dresses that the Wythenshawe Starlettes danced in.These come in two colour combinations so that leader and mascots differ from the line.We have had these dresses nearly two and half a years now and they are well liked by all the girls. The colours are very funky and modern and the design is simple making it able to maintain the dresses appearences from season to season. We also have very funky purple and silver shakers to match these dresses which make the whole look very vibrant.Below our some pics of our girls modelling the dresses at the last SELO championships
These dresses are a really unusual colour combination of black and gold. They stand out as the darker contrasting colours make them unique. They're made from a thick satiny material. These dresses are special to us all as they are the first dresses that we danced in as NCL Diamonds rather than Wythenshawe Starlettes.
These are our latest dresses and our second set as NCL Diamonds. Theyre another unusual combination of burgandy and gold. The diamond design is eye catching and adds detail.Again they got another mixed reaction from the gang but everyone has now grown to really like them.
